Old Fashioned Flavor
The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast is another page of Mill history unfolding. The Main House was built in the mid-1800's. Lodgers find the four rooms homey, with an old-fashioned flavor recalling a less hurried time. Authentic art exists throughout the Inn. The Old Mill servers a Continental Breakfast. We have been featured in Recommended Country Inns.

The Old Mill Art Colony
In 1932, Wayman Adams, international renown portrait painter, was traveling from NYC to the Lake Placid Club, where Adams had been commissioned to paint a portrait. Wayman and Margaret Adams spent the last night of their journey in Elizabethtown. Falling in love with the area, their search for a summer home and art studio ended with the purchase of the Mill property consisting of the Mill Studio/Gallery, Cottages and the Main House.

The Old Mill was Honored with the Adirondack Architectural Heritage Award in 2009!!
